A short-form ad created for Once Upon, combining illustration, animation, live-action footage, and editing. I developed the illustrations, animated the concept, filmed the footage, and edited the final video.
For this concept, the goal was to highlight Once Upon’s new patterned photo books in a way that feels emotional and nostalgic.
The idea was to unlock childhood memories. Since we didn’t have access to the right visual material, I explored AI-generated imagery to recreate those nostalgic scenes.

“Got 39,637 photos on your phone?” — designed to immediately grab attention and create recognition.

The video quickly transitions into an app walkthrough, demonstrating how easily photos can be turned into a photo book, ending with the final physical product.

I chose a Ukrainian folk song and created an animated canvas by combining my own illustrations with photography.
